Boswell, Indy
I am a Writer of Spirit from the Heartland (View Portfolio) Culver, IN 46511
jboswell@culcom.net
indyboswell.com
Description
In my writing I draw from a broad set of experiences while incorporating many of the understandings that i have adopted from my ongoing study of both eastern and western religions. In my younger days, having been to "battle stations missile" more than once while serving as a junion orricer on a U.S. fleet ballistic missile submarine, I feel compelled to look for alternatives and views that most writers might not otherwise consider. After a somewhat fulfilling business career, I moved back to my small Indiana hometown where i currently write novels and short stories. I am sixty years old.
Background
My background includes: four years as a junior officer on a fleet ballistic missile submarine; a masters in public administration from indiana university; a masters in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School; and nearly 25 years of business experience in Washington DC providing management consulting, financial analyses, engineering, and budgeting services to several companies and institutions, including IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Department of Energy, and the U.S. Navy

Portfolio
Indy Boswell at the ripe old age of sixty, sitting in his writing den at home in Culver, Indiana.
Indy Boswell as a newly commissioned naval officer in 1969 ripe to head off for his nuclear training and service on a U.S. fleet ballistic missile submarine.
The front and back cover of Indy's first novel, The Sower's Seeds--the first of four related novels that take place in the small fictious town of Jordan, Indiana. At its heart, The Sower's Seeds is about family--those we are born into and those among whom we live. The Sower's Seeds is a tapestry woven with questions and curiosity--one that recognizes how difficult it is to live with courage, integrity, and happiness.
