Description
It has been said that "One man's junk is another man's treasure." I truly believe that with the right "junk" and a little imagination, I can turn trash into treasure. My art evolves from the vision I see in a piece of junk on any given day. Some days that is nothing. Other days it may become a bird, an insect, or perhaps a flower.
Background
My passion for this art form was born from an interest in blacksmithing. There has always been something about the ability to move and manipulate steel by heating it that has just fascinated me. Eventually, I took a couple of welding classes and my art form, married from these two studies, sprouted from there.
