The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department provides a wide variety of programs and events year-round. We serve all ages, demographics, and individuals with social and recreational opportunities. Our primary arts role is providing a 10-week Friday Evening Performing Arts Series each summer that highlights a different genre each week.
The Warsaw Park sand Recreation Department offers 17 parks, in addition to other facilities including beaches, a skate park, and community gardens. WPRD has been offering free community arts opportunities through the Friday Evening Performing Arts Series for more than 15 years. Our organization strives to provide accessible, wholesome leisure opportunities that promote social, mental, and physical well-being through effective services, diverse programming, and quality park facilities.
Visitor Information
Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (hours may vary due to programs and events) The Friday Evening Performing Arts Series is held in Central Park Plaza, an ADA accessible outdoor facility in Warsaw's Central Park.
