I paint landscapes, still lifes, with true proportions, with enhanced colors. While the subject matter is realistic, the colors may or may not be, allowing for more emotion to fill the area. Graphite portraits are realistic, with great depth. Murals are of varying styles, depending on what the owner of the room wants. I teach beginning artists both drawing and oil painting. For teaching violin, I use Suzuki literature, but not the Suzuki method, using a method based on Paul Rolland and Suzuki philosophy. For teaching piano, I will use (more)

What is music? Is it merely just a collection of sounds, sometimes pleasurable, sometimes not? Is it just so much white noise? For me, music is (and always has been) a spiritual experience that helps to set a mood, allows one to soar to new heights, is a companion when in the depths of despair. Music brings me the wings needed to fly again. Those who know me know that I come from a very talented musical heritage. They have been my inspiration growing up; my teachers and encouragers. I want to fully explore my own talents for myself as (more)

I have also been writing music for many years, and have performed live on several occasions. I compose MIDI music in the style of epic soundtracks that I use to inspire my writing. I currently write epic fantasy fiction and horror, do web design, and have settled in Brown County for the peace and quiet.
