Everybody that knows me will tell you that I have been drawing and painting my whole life. Teaching myself the traditional skills of drawing from life, figure studies, portraits and painting with oil or acrylic on canvas and other media served to propel me forward to experiment with new techniques in watercolor, pastels and even airbrush. All of these illustrative skills prepared me for a future in graphic design & illustration.
After graduating from Mt. San Jacinto College in 1979 with an Associates Degree, I started working as a technical illustrator in the aerospace industry in Los Angeles. Painted 15 murals in Southern California. Moved to Texas to experiment with painting sky & water and illustrating the coastal lifestyle in Texas while working with some of the regional Ad Agencies. Creative Director at Wells Media Associates and Art Director for several issues of the “South Padre Island’’ magazine. Awarded regional Addy Award for print design. 1st & 2nd place Awards in several juried regional art shows. Exhibited and sold paintings through shows & galleries. Studied computer graphics at Computer Arts Institute in San Francisco in 1988. Hired as Staff Artist at Origin Sytems in 1988 producing 13 computer game titles, including Ultima & Wing Commander. Interactive Media Designer for Holt, Rinehart Winston producing educational cirricullum on CD. Presently employed doing 3D Architectural Visualization.

The MoPac (Missouri Pacific) railroad bridge crosses Town Lake in Austin, Texas at the point where Bouldin Creek feeds into the South bank of the river. This is a very scenic spot on the park trail and there are always groups of walkers and joggers that enjoy the view from here.
