I create jewelry and wall hangings with fusible glass. My tools include glass cutters, glass saws, glass grinders, and a kiln. Due to considerable practice I am able to cut colored glass into shapes that I feel to be desirable for my intended piece and after assembly, the glass is placed into the kiln and fired to its fusible state. After sufficient cooling time it is removed from the kiln for its final stage. The last thing is to frame the wall hanging or to place the findings on the pieces chosen for jewelry.

My art practice is finding its expression in everyday, social spaces, quietly operating within strategies of place-making and relational experiences. These projects can be described as being “situated” and “in-relation-to” a place, neighborhood, particular community, and existing social structures and contexts, mostly outside of the studio or gallery. My role as an artist is also constantly in flux, located in a variety of positions, as project manager/designer/supervisor on large-scale public projects; or as a walker/dancer/partner on (more)

I am a digital print artist and filmmaker. Postmodern critical issues involving authorship, appropriation, and authenticity; originality, meaning, and identity are the motivating forces that drive my work. There is a well-defined art-historical content to much of my work. My film/video work is concerned with issues of temporality, structure, and the discrediting of the narrative form.

Well, I am a graduate from the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale, currently working in the graphics field, however beyond those hours, I am a fine artist. My medium of choice is pencil/graphite. I'm experimenting with realistic figures within surreal surroundings which reflect the 'hidden world'. This 'hidden world' is that dark place behind the veil of what we perceive as reality, it is the place of transmutation of the soul, in terms of the alchemist.

As an artist and musician, I draw upon the interconnected rhythms of the natural world and human culture to engage and communicate. It is my hope that my work inspires harmony - an interactive metaphor of being in tune with oneself, our neighbors and the world we all share - through awareness, listening, hearing, understanding, and respect.

When subject matter is no longer important, the artist can henceforth express what is essential to him. Completely free from conforming to external standards, he uses his senses and sensitivity and his preferred medium in a singular portrayal of self- identification. Free - flowing energies from within demand expressive form - they in turn feed my senses. Thus my subjects do not consist of structured content. I relate to the suggestion of restlessness, subtle, yet ongoing motion without regard for time. I’m struck by elusive textures, (more)

With these questions in mind, I find visual and tactile inspiration in objects, materials, and activities that are ordinary, but have the potential to maintain a voice when combined or altered. In my sculptures and installations, I utilize recognizable experiences to question cycles of desire, consumption, desire,… developed in "the pursuit of happiness."

The ideas that hold people's attention when trying to transform into more in life are desplayed in various states, and materials. The ideas that have no foundation but still provide a sense in feelings that can be desplayed threw the constant rythem of the universe. The task of mine is trying to web those patterns into many different elements to form a great mental image that can be seen by all walks of life to provide more inspiration for a higher human spiritual strengh.
