I construct rustic willow furniture from native willow which I gather locally. This follows a tradition of folk art that is influenced by Gypsy and Adirondack styles. I have a rustic furniture shop at 7th and Main in Lapel in a 1890's grocery store building from the gas boom era.

As an artist and musician, I draw upon the interconnected rhythms of the natural world and human culture to engage and communicate. It is my hope that my work inspires harmony - an interactive metaphor of being in tune with oneself, our neighbors and the world we all share - through awareness, listening, hearing, understanding, and respect.

As a child I never questioned what I would be when I grew up. When asked, I would reply, “An artist of course!” I have been in love with art since I was a small child and have always been known by friends and family as the “artistic” one. I have always had a knack for figuring out how to take an idea and make it a reality. I can work in just about any medium. I tend to primarily work as a painter with acrylic and watercolor. I love the fast drying quality of these paints because I tend to work very quickly. I am open to just about any type (more)

It is not rare that I on occasion shall choose to go wait in a lobby just for the satisfaction of drawing all of the characters waiting still. I am a full time college student studying psychology, while passionately practicing art. All media pleases me for experimentation and I am quite creatively skilled. However I am best with pen and ink, ceramic, and watercolor. As far as performing arts I have experience both on stage and on the stage crew; when the curtain is called both are just as gratifying. I love art in all of its forms and am eager (more)

DELREVERDA-JENNINGS: Interdisciplinary Artist: Influenced by the kaleidoscope of cultural nuances, personal experiences, connection, memory and observation...Art has always been a constant passion and drive throughout my life. It is compulsory and I must admit that I create the majority of what I do for purely selfish reasons. I, in conjunction with my fellow designer, envision and sculpt objects of a fantastical nature tempered with recognizable historic elements in order to build a visual balance and scale that stimulates and inspires. I strive to achieve sculptures that make the imagination race and the heart flutter, though the viewer may not know why. My dream consciousness and world experience direct the details that manifest as subtle stylized components that complement and enhance the overall work.

Glass is my canvas,i carve/ engrave art onto any type of glass or mirror including personalized auto glass.I have seen nobody even come close to what I do in quality, type,or anything. It is a very long and tedious process requiring hours per each square inch. The colors that come from the my engravings sparkle with color and clarity not unlike a quality diamond.Every inch of my art requires a very delicate touch, every slight angle or difference in pressure creates a different effect.I am the master of this craft.I was blessed with this talent to (more)

I paint what I feel by using oil, and acrylic paints. I use strong colors that group together well. I enjoy painting outdoor scenes that reflect weather. I also paint famous musicians. I love to paint emotion, so when you look at the painting you can actually feel the deep emotional connection between you and the painting. I also like to paint abstract, using bold, unusual colors that I mix myself. I like to take a blank canvas and just go crazy with my imagination. I paint in no direction, sometimes I just go with the flow of the brush and (more)

I love combining glass, metal and clay as well as painting on tiles, not to mention starting more painting with gesso on canvas. The other love that I have is working with fellow artists in a creative manner as well as organizations. In the spring of 2008, I completed my docent training for th IU Art Museum.
