I am a musician, performer, composer and educator with over 40 years of experience. My specialty area is music technology, including live performance, adaptive uses and public access to synthesizers, recording equipment and electronic musical instruments. I have performed my original, solo compositions nationally in over 1,000 venues. I am able to work with students of all ages and their families, and I have designed residencies lasting from one day to several months. I have recorded and produced 100's of songs written and performed by students, on site, using a portable recording studio. See for more information.
As a Master-Teaching-Artist for over 20 years with VSA Indiana, I have extensive experience working with special needs populations. I was the first curator for The Bob Moog Foundation for Electronic Music, and I am recognized nationally as an expert and historian on electronic music. I was "The Official Musician" and "The Ambassador of The Arts" for The Pan American Games, and composed and performed the music for the closing ceremonies. Other commissions include the opening for the Informatics Building and for Ball Gardens at IUPUI. I teach classes at IUPUI on "The Beatles" and "Computers and Music" and I teach "The Beatles" and "The History of Rock and Roll" at Marian University. I received the "Innovative Teaching Award" from IUPUI. See for more information.

I can compose and perform site and event specific music and programing. I created an "Electronic Petting Zoo" to allow people at public events to play and interact with music technology. I have an assembly and/or workshop focused on Music Technology and Recording for students, teachers and public venues. I train people how to compose and record music with computers, and I have a portable recording studio that I bring to schools, prisons, behavioral facilities, etc. I encourage and enable people to share their feelings through music. Appearing as 'the illuminaudio" I present an interactive Audio/Visual performance. I also perform as "Dr. Spin, The All Vinyl D.J." I bring over 500 records to an event and let people pick their own songs.
